SCIENCE - THE HUMAN BODY

DK Lift-The-Flap Book “Inside The Body” (Giuliano Fornari) $6 HB FC+ This oversized volume clearly and effectively presents human anatomy. Readers lift flaps on different parts of the body to see what organs or muscles lie underneath. Every nook and cranny of the body is packed with individual parts. Each part has a job to do, both alone and with the parts around it. It is difficult to imagine what all these parts look like and how they work together. This book treats the body as more than the sum of its parts. Within its pages are flaps which can be lifted to uncover a different layer of the body interior. Explanatory text tells readers more about what they have uncovered. The artworks on the flaps peel away one-by-one like a window to the layer beneath, enabling readers to visualize the body interior as it really appears. Highly recommended! 8+ http://www.amazon.co.uk/Inside-Body-Lift-Flap-Book/dp/0789409992
