Boundaries With Kids (Dr Henry Cloud & Dr John Townsend) $3 PB GC Since the 1992 release of their Gold Medallion Award-winning book, Boundaries, Drs. Henry Cloud and John Townsend have heard these three questions rephrased thousands of times. As parents begin to realize the tremendous impact poor boundaries have had on their own lives, their concern naturally extends to their children. How can they help their sons and daughters form healthy boundaries that lead to well-rounded characters and successful adult lives? Now there are answers. Boundaries with Kids helps parents apply the Ten Laws of Boundaries (first described in Boundaries) to the challenges of raising children. In their popular, readable style, Cloud and Townsend help mums and dads make choices and develop a parenting approach that sees beyond the moment to the adults their children will become. http://cdn3.fishpond.co.nz/9780310204565-crop-325x325.jpg

A simple, traditional definition of Heaven that is rich in imagery but never over-embroidered . Heaven, she writes, "is a beautiful place up in the sky, where no one is sick, where no one is mean or unhappy. It's a place beyond the moon, the stars, and the clouds.... Heaven isn't a place you can see.... It's somewhere you believe in." Big Book Of Families (Catherine & Laurence Anholt – Walker Books) $3 PB VGC With the spirited verse and lively watercolours that are done in their signature style, the Anholts celebrate many different kinds of families.
