 Aboard Endeavour: Cook’s Voyage 1768-1771 (Bruce Stannard) $6 PB VGC Written in the form of the imagined diary of midshipman Isaac Smith aboard Cook's ship. The colour illustrations by Sandra Laroche are beautifully executed, and give a good idea of what it must have been like during the voyage. In Search Of A Cannon: Aftermath Of Captain Cook’s Epic Voyage (GK Bolton) $1 PB GC A pictorial history of the finding of the cannon thrown overboard from the Endeavour over 200 years ago. Six cannons were eventually found embedded in the coral of the Great Barrier Reef. 10+

 Captain James Cook Souvenir 1970 Book $2 PB VGC The official souvenir handed out to all school children commemorating the 200th anniversary of the discovery of Australia.
